My years at Her World were nothing short of transformative. As a dorky twenty-something in my first proper writing role, I learned how to pitch stories, agonised over every line of personality features and discovered the art of meeting deadlines (and surviving them).
It opened up a brand new world, where I got to meet some of the most incredible women who reshaped how I saw identity, ambition and resilience through a feminine lens.
I contributed four to six stories a month—some challenging, most fun. In the name of work, I spoke with inspiring women personalities, found dates online, tried surviving without social media for a week, dished out financial advice and travelled to some of the world’s coolest spots like Bhutan and San Francisco.
Her World will always hold a special place in my heart.
